I am no by no means an expert runner, I have never ran a full marathon, and I am certainly not the fastest on the course. I run because I enjoy it – the way I feel after finishing a long run and the time it gives me to turn thoughts over in my head. One of the things I love about the running community is instead of working to win a race, many work towards reaching their own goals.

Through training and completing four half marathons, I have had the opportunity to try some different training plans as well as have some trial-and-error experience with gear, lost toe nails, blisters, chaffed legs, and sore muscles. Check out the Training & Gear page to see what I have learned so far.
